I read this book a while ago and I think I've read it over a hundred times since. Susan Elizabeth Phillips is an author that writes good books even when she's writing bad books and this is the best.
My problem is that I love this book so much that I don't know where to start talking about it. It is a redemption story, both for Daisy, who is a rich girl who has to learn how to work hard when she marries Alex, the manager of a circus after her mother dies. It sounds like a strange set up as I write this but it makes sense in the book. Alex is a bastard but there's enough of a reason for him to be like that and Daisy is the exact opposite of me in that she is nice and doesn't really have a temper. It doesn't matter though because the chemistry between these two characters is electric and the love scenes... whew!
As always, I really enjoy a book with animals in it and this one didn't fail me. I wouldn't want a pet tiger like Sinjun but I loved reading about him.
